“Success loves planning.” You’ve probably heard this before, but not many medical centers actually plan for success or even plan at all. The main goal is to increase membership and open many medical centers. Yes. All practices have that goal. How to get there, well, that’s when a doable plan comes in handy.
Do you have a Business Plan?
You should be able to have a written answer (or at least a “dream in mind”) to the questions listed below.
For example:
- How many centers do you plan to open in the next 5 years?
- Membership goals. Do you have any?
- Do your employees know their short-term and long-term goals?
- Are the objectives specific, measurable and realistic?
- Have you created effective teams to accomplish these goals?
- Do you have reporting tools to measure your plan?
- Who is responsible for each metric?
- Are you gathering data and analyzing data?
- Are you involving your physicians? Do they have your motivation to achieve the company’s plan?
